A turtle-shaped paddle-wheel boat for young skippers, as safe a kids' boat as you'll find for ponds and streams. Two hand-cranked paddle wheels propel and steer it with no rudder, and the light 4 x 11 ft flat-bottom hull lets a six-year-old outpace dad in a rowboat.
